Steck Family Fun: Tired

Well, I think Matt and I have found a whole new level of tired. Two nights ago I heard Matt burping Aubrey while he was sitting up on the side of the bed. I was a little confused b/c I hadn't heard her wake up and I hadn't just fed her so wasn't sure why he was burping her. I even heard him mumbling something to her. I was even more confused when I looked over and she was still laying in her bed. Yes, Matt was burping the bed or his pillow or something. He had no memory of it the next morning.

The first two weeks I just expected that I'd be exhausted and then it seemed like we'd settled into a little pattern and I was learning how to function on the sleep I was getting, but she's decided to throw us for a loop this week. This week Aubrey has been pretty much mad all evening every evening and doesn't really want to be set down at all during the day. I'm not sure what happened to our happy baby of a week ago. She used to take some good 2 hour naps during the day but now just cat naps in between each feeding. This means I rarely get to nap during the day now. I got to really liking my afternoon naps. I'm pretty sure she's going through growth spurt b/c she seems to want to eat every hour. I'm hoping my happy and slightly more predictable baby will be back soon!

I didn't dare move her in case she was actually going to take a nap. It lasted 20 min.
